TEXBAY offers Wovens. These can be coated, laminated, impregnated, heat treated or used “as is” in an application. Fabrics may be from glass, basalt, pvc or other materials. Please select the main category of interest.
The first category "Wovens" are filtered by "Loom State" or also called "Greige" goods. In this state they are intended for additional textile processes, such as laminating, coating, heat treatment, Cut & Sew, etc. They can be ordered in master rolls or in smaller amounts/ roll.
In this category we also cover Heat-Shrinking, Caramelizing, Heat-cleaning. Those heat treatments are applied to the high temperature resistant textiles.
We think we cover 98% of the industry standards. Certificates of Conformances can be provided.
Loom State
Woven Laminated products can have e.g. aluminum foil on one side but a a different lamination or coating on the others side. There are many combinations possible.
With so many loom state fabrics available for laminating and the many combinations of media to apply to the fabrics, we believe we cover amongst the most combinations in the industry. Not many companies have the ability to coat & laminate in house. Some products come with industry relevant certifications. Certificates of Conformances can be provided.
Laminated
Coatings may be applied to fabrics made from E-Glass, HT-Glass, Silica-Glass, Basalt or other.
There are many different coatings which in part can be applied in combination to one fabric, as well; or they can be pared with laminated fabrics. Having coating and lamination produced in one factory, we can offer the widest range of possibilities in the industry very cost effectively. Some products come with Industry relevant Certifications. Certificates of Conformances can be provided.
Coated
Composite Wovens are fabrics which are prepared for making composites. They are treated with various sizings or prepregs in order to aid in the following production process. TEXBAY offers materials, made from E-Glass, Boron Free - Glass, Basalt, other. Some fabrics are combined with unidirectionals. Selected items come with industry relevant Certifications. Certificates of Conformances can be provided.
Composites
In the Category Ballistics, TEXBAY offers Para-Aramid fiber based fabrics, similar to Kevlar or Twaron. The strength-to-weight ratio is about 5 times higher than steel. This makes them a very light weight solution, not only purely for ballistic applications, but all types of applications where impact resistance & weight play a crucial role.
