PyroProtecto Basalt Mats Class 1292 (degrees F)

PyroProtecto Basalt Fiber mats Class 1292 are made from extruded lava rock fibers. A needle punching process intermingles the fibers and thus lock them in. The result is a mechanically bonded mat, no chemical bonding agents are utilized.

During operation, the mat may shrink and for that reason, the shrinkage should be factored in.

Key properties:

– non-toxic
– low acoustic permeability
– low electrical conductivity
– resistant to rotting
– excellent corrosion resistant
– noncombustible
