HT-Glass fabrics are designed for high temperature applications up to 1,472 degrees F (800 degrees C). They can be used “as is”, but often are used in conjunction with other media, such as laminations, coatings, impregnations or combinations of same.
In some applications it is necessary to caramelize/ heat treat or even pre-shrink.  
For high strength, stress relieve or anti static applications, a wire metal wire (0.1 mm or 0.004”) can be inserted.

welding blankets - oven curtains - insulation pillows/ pads - protective clothes - conversion to gaskets - welding curtains - flexible expansion joins - fire blanket - general high heat protection - reflective heat applications - heat barriers/ shields - chemical protection

AVAILABLE FEATURES:
- Hydrophobic (water-repellent properties)
- Weave lock (for easy cutting & handling)
- Silane (amino silane and epoxy-silane based, for reinforcement applications)
- Various color finishes
- Heat Treatment (pre-shrinking up to 8%)
- Texturized fabric
- Impregnation with Vermiculite (to increase the Temperature Resistances)
- Laminations with Aluminum or Steel foils, or with an adhesive backing
- Coatings (Polyurethane, Silicone, Acrylic, Graphite filled, Neoprene
- Combinations of Coatings and Laminations
- Laminations can be applied ALSO TO Silica-Glass (1,832 degr. F)

With the many coatings and adhesive backings and choices of foils, there are countless combinations; below spread sheet reflects standard specifications for the fabric in loom state (greige) state. Customizations are possible upon request.
